"Kum Nye is the art of developing true balance...
The moment practice begins, you are planting
the seed of a healthy, positive attitude."

- Tarthang Tulku, Kum Nye - Tibetan Yoga

Are you looking to experience the rejuvenating and revitalizing benefits of yoga in a way that is less rigorous and physically demanding? Have you ever wanted to feel the peace of mind and lightness that comes from meditation but have a hard time just sitting still? Then Kum Nye Yoga may be just what you have been searching for!

Kum Nye Tibetan Yoga is a gentle healing system which relieves stress, transforms negative patterns, and helps us to be balanced and healthy. Through a series of gentle movements, easy stretches, and short periods of sitting meditation and breath work, Kum Nye stimulates the energy of the physical body and the subtle body to open our minds, bodies and senses to all that is possible.

Warning: With practice, one may experience a sense of ease, relaxation, and joy! No prior experience necessary. Keep the morning meal light and come with an open heart.

About the Instructor

Chelsea Rappel has been a lover of all things yoga since the first time she took savasanah (final resting pose) a half-decade ago. Seeking to bring her practice to life, she rolled up her mat and relocated from the New Jersey shore to Northern California to practice Karma Yoga (the yoga of service) at Ratna Ling, a Buddhist Retreat Center in Cazadero. There she found Kum Nye Yoga, a practice that helped her to find stillness, peace and healing. Having enjoyed an opening of the heart before unimagined, she wishes to share this love with the world.
