David Skibbins Acting is incredibly fun, once you know what you are doing!

This workshop is for both those with little stage experience (or none!) and for those who want to hone their craft even more. No matter what your level of experience, you will leave this workshop a better and more confident actor.

The seven week workshop is designed to introduce you to acting and then to take your acting skills to a new level. We will explore basic stagecraft, how to live your character, and tricks of the trade for nailing auditions. In-class work and rehearsal outside of class time will support you in learning this wonderful game called acting.

About the instructor

David Skibbins was a theater and film major in college, and has starred in many local dramatic and musical productions. He was Director for An Ordinary Woman Under Stress and Our Town, and Assistant Director for Diary of Anne Frank and Steel Magnolias. He has been in many local productions as an actor. He was an associate professor for a decade, teaching in three Bay Area universities.
