Gualala Arts Piano Group

JoAnne Hafner, a former Sea Rancher, organized the Piano Group in 1988. Initially there were perhaps 8 members, but the membership has grown over the years and currently there are 22.

The Gualala Arts Piano Group is open to all levels of play. Our membership is not restricted to those living at Sea Ranch, nor is there a membership fee. Everyone is welcome. We encourage beginners to join us as well as more experienced players. Each member chooses what they will play each month, although most play classical music.

The group meets the second Monday of every month at 1:00 p.m., and members take turns hosting either in their home or at the Del Mar Center located at The Sea Ranch. We do not require that each person play at every meeting, although we encourage his or her participation.

Our December meeting is a potluck dinner at a member's home. It is a wonderful organization for those who want to improve their skills, meet with others that share their enthusiasm for music and love playing the piano. We hope that you will join us!
