Landscape Group

The Landscape Group has been developing the grounds of the Gualala Arts Center since it's inception in 1995. A Landscape Design was approved in 1996 and includes roads, parking, trails, amphitheater, meditation circle, walks, terraces and signage.

Plantings have been installed and irrigated regularly. A casual stroll through the Arts Center grounds will show off the talent and dedication of this interest group.

We need fresh talent and skills - people who enjoy outdoor creative facilities construction, landscape maintenance and planting and good camaraderie.

Come when you can and work with a congenial crew. Coffee and "goodies" are shared mid-morning. We also have things to do if you prefer working by yourself on Tuesday or other days, if that is more convenient for your schedule. We like to think of our art media as dirt, bushes, concrete, slate, wire, pipe and lights. A benefit is honest exercise!

The Gualala Arts Center, located at 46501 Gualala Road in Gualala, CA,
is open weekdays 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and weekends from noon to 4:00 p.m.
