Cuffy's Cove

Julia Terr The Collective is a group of 18 artists spanning from Ft. Bragg to the north, Sea Ranch to the south and Cloverdale to the east, all gathered together in the sweet town of Elk, California. They offer a vast variety of original fine art, which includes photography, paintings, drawings, jewelry, sculpture, ceramics, pottery, redwood furniture and textiles.

Sophia Their mission is to provide original art at affordable prices, so they charge their artists no commission fees. This benefits both the artist and the client.

The Artist's Collective is run by Craig Hathaway and Lu Vickery. Craig has lived in Elk for quite some time and is married to a long time resident Eileen and they have a teenage son, Carson. Craig makes beautiful redwood furniture and Eileen makes gorgeous jewelry.

Lu Vickery is a recent arrival to the Coast. She retired here with her husband Jim and they have 3 grown sons. Jim is a member of the Gallery and does oil painting. Lu is also a member and makes pine-needle baskets.

Lu Vickery believes, "We believe that we have just a little bit of heaven in our gallery."
