Chinese Six-Course Dinner

Gualala Arts will host a Chinese Six-Course Dinner on Friday, April 25 at 6:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. Host and No-Host table reservations of 8 to 10 will be available by calling Gualala Arts, 707-884-1138, weekdays 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or weekends noon to 4:00 p.m. The $35 Early Bird Special is available through April 11, $5 more after this date, if available.

The Chinese Dinner is in celebration of the exhibit titled China, Past and Present opening April 12 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. through May 4.

Merilyn Lafferty is curator of this special exhibit which features art of different media by artists from northern and southern California, Nevada and China. Representation of traditional and contemporary Chinese art, thus the China, Past and Present, reflects a country which honors its past tradition, but one that enthusiastically embraces a technological present and future.
